1. My experiences on EDUC165
Distance Learning:
PRO: Because it doesn’t require any commuting, I was saved some money
and time for spending travel back and forth to school. Because of distance learning,
I can do my requirement tasks anywhere especially if I had free or vacant time
during my practicum in my cooperating school. It gave more challenges to me on
how to complete those tasks at the same time doing my duties as student teacher.
CON: I think, the orientation and some supports to us were not enough
in order to accomplish all the requirements of us. Just like me who’s not
enough knowledge in computer worlds, I spent much money to explore first such
as on how to post my assignment tasks and other related activities since I
almost forgot what I had learned before.
2. This course or subject helped
student teacher like me to enhance my skills and knowledge through distance
learning by using computers or internet. Through distance learning, I was
challenged on how I finished or accomplished the required tasks in order to
pass this subject at the same time by doing all the assigments and tasks that I
had in my practicum. The couse is also encouraged me to become an explorer in
computer world.
#6 GC Reflection
1. One
of the horrific calamity that I’ll never forget was shocked to watch on
television how typhoon Ondoy swept our country particularly the most effected
part of Luzon which the capital, Manila. It was very memorable for many
residents on Metro Manila and people of other provinces which affected by the
said Tropical Storm Ondoy.
I was so felt sad and
pity during that time because I saw lot of houses, multiple-story buildings
where wholly submerged underwater for days and practically deep in mud for
weeks. This typhoon was resulting floods, caused further damages such as to infrastructures
and crops, and the most terrifying, the death of many people in different
areas. Those images were stay on my mind even I turned off the television during
that time and even though it almost five years after it was happened.
When typhoon Ondoy hit
our country, many people were unprepared and did not expected the worst it
brought that’s why the disaster it caused was really bigger, wider, and very
terrified. Wealthy or poor one, everyone was affected and did not going left to
face its disaster.
But on the other side,
it feels sad that there were people pointed and looking for people or agencies
to what happened. On my own opinion, this typhoon was God’s Will to remind us of
everything – in order for us to be strong all the time, and when there’s
calamity that could we encountered never forget to pray, believe and be
faithful to Him, at calling for everyone to help each other, to teach us for
the bad things we have done and continue in doing to our Mother Nature and
especially to bring lesson to us that no matter what happened, there is always
hope and another day to start and continue our life.
Through all these, there will still part of what happened that I saw an encouragement for us – to see the community bayanihan spirit rising, it was happened from all over Filipino people and contributing whatever they can for those in need. There were people raised as heroes for there selfless act to save the others and even their life was the change by those act. They gave light and hope for the helpless one to continue face life.
Behind of those seen, many people get back their faith with God and understand how our Mother Nature taught us to being care to it. There were environmentalists whose calling on the government regulators to implement appropriate environmental laws to avoid happens again the accidents, disasters and even death due to massive floods as the results of the an indiscriminate dumping of waste into the rivers and streams, and the improper waste management.
As one of the responsible on caring our environment, I’ll do my job to help avoid the worst disaster happened like brought by Ondoy. And I hope that all people, not only in the country but all over the world, will help on taking care for our Mother Nature.

2. My Music Video
It's not the flowers,
wrapped in fancy paper
It's not the ring, I wear around my finger
There's nothing in all the world I need
When I have you here beside me, here beside me
So you could give me wings to fly
And catch me if I fall
Or pull the stars down from the sky
So I could wish on them all
But I couldn't ask for more
'Cause your love is the greatest gift of all
In your arms, I found a strength inside me
And in your eyes, there's a light to guide me
I would be lost without you
And all that my heart could ever want has come true
So you could give me wings to fly
And catch me if I fall
Or pull the stars down from the sky
So I could wish on them all
But I couldn't ask for more
'Cause your love is the greatest gift of all
You could offer me the sun, the moon
And I would still believe
You gave me everything
When you gave your heart to me
But I couldn't ask for more
'Cause your love is the greatest gift of all
You could give me wings to fly
And catch me if I fall
Or pull the stars down from the sky
So I could wish on them all
But I couldn't ask for more
'Cause your love is the greatest gift of all
Your love is the greatest gift

#3 Storytelling MTB-ME
1. An
excellent storyteller is someone who can make a story alive; make the listeners
see, hear, taste, smell, and feel what the characters’ do in the story; make
them involve throughout the process of storytelling by means of ensuring they
understand the story, feel or show excitements and keep anticipating what
happens next; and most important, is someone who can make the listeners more
reflective thinking at the end of the story and never be forgotten the lesson give
by the story, and the story itself.
